Do YOU suffer from Stress?

We don’t always immediately realise it when we are suffering from stress. There are several physical symptoms that can act as warning signals; advance notice from our bodies telling us to take pre-emptive action. Check the following list. The more symptoms you have, the more pressure your body is under.

  • SHALOW or FASTER BREATHING
  • HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
  • EXCESS SWEATING
  • MUSCULAR TENSION
  • DILATED PUPILS
  • LOSS OF APPETITE
  • IRREGULAR MENSTRUATION
  • LOW SEX DRIVE
  • PALPITATIONS
  • HAIR LOSS
  • CONSTANT TIREDNESS
  • Pre-menstrual tension (PMT)
  • DISTURBED SLEEP PATTERN

As well as experiencing one or more of the physical symptoms listed above, our emotions can also be thrown into turmoil. Anyone who is under a lot of stress will feel uneasy and vulnerable and may feel like crying all the time. Emotional disturbance can surface in many ways.
